With a comprehensive range of information and services relating to their own home and a team of 300 specialists, Aroundhome supports houseowners who live in their own property in carrying out major investment projects relating to their own home - from selling and investing to maintaining and repairing their property.
In addition, Aroundhome provides smart service tools such as checklists, calculators and high-quality content, which offer users recommendations for suitable and future-proof solutions.

My goal is to position Aroundhome in such a way that our actions and all our decisions are aligned with our customers and their needs at all times. It’s important to me that we build on our existing strengths and actively develop our team and organization. At the same time, I’d like to promote a culture in which, alongside customer orientation, transparency and personal responsibility are lived out every single day. At the end of the day, it’s the people working there who make the difference between a merely good and a sensational company. “You’re only as good as the people you hire” – that’s my firm conviction.
Hamburg-born Moritz Kothe has been Chief Executive Officer at Aroundhome since April 2021. From 2016 to 2021, he worked as CEO at the Boston, USA, and Hamburg offices of kununu, which he developed into Europe’s leading employer rating portal. Prior to that, he held leading positions with the professional networking platform Xing and the German retailer Tchibo, among others.
As CFO, I see myself as a strategic business partner to the operational management team with a focus on growth, employee development, and entrepreneurship. My goal is to work with my team to create sustainable values for Aroundhome and achieve the defined corporate goals using the right key figures. I see my task as a manager to build up and develop high-performance and successful commercial and operational teams.
Thomas Bruns has been a Director and Chief Financial Officer of Aroundhome since September 2021. For the previous 10 years, he worked as a member of the board and CFO of the listed company MyHammer, in which capacity he succeeded in increasing the company’s value from under € 10 million to over € 160 million.
My team and I are building a next-generation technology platform at Aroundhome that will offer our users and partners a first-class service. Our passion is for a simple and lean software architecture and, with it, the satisfaction of developers, data and PaaS. I’m a strong advocate of the leader-leader model and agile ways of working, along the lines of: “Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.” (Michael Jordan).
Portuguese-born Hélder Martins has been Chief Technology Officer at Aroundhome since 2021. He developed his first software at the age of 15 and has been leading technology teams at kununu and Paddy Power Betfair, among other places, since 2001. During his time as Managing Director and Head of Technology at Paddy Power Betfair, he won several national “Best Place to Work” awards.
My focus is on making as many of our partners as possible successful with our products and on finding them the right projects with our users.
Our sales teams achieve this by understanding the challenges faced by specialist companies and offering sustainable solutions - in partnership and at eye level.
As CSO, Dagmar Faltis is responsible for the B2B segment at Aroundhome. She looks back on more than 15 years of management experience in the e-commerce and platform business. Dagmar spent more than six years at the proptech allmyhomes, a platform for data-driven marketing of new construction properties, where as CSO and member of the executive board she was significantly responsible for the startup's successful development into a grownup. Prior to that, she spent more than eleven years at Immobilienscout24, where she held various management positions and was a member of the executive board, helping the brokerage platform to become the market leader among real estate portals in Germany.
Wir bauen Aroundhome zu Deutschlands größtem Online-Makler für Produkte und Dienstleistungen rund ums Haus auf. Als CPO reichen meine Interessen daher von Technologie über Design bis hin zur „Kunst“, Dinge zu erledigen. Mein Leitsatz: Whatever the problem, be part of the solution.
Patrick Roelofs complements the management at Aroundhome as Chief Product Officer. Prior to that, he was Vice President Product & UX at Lotto24 AG (part of the ZEAL Group) and spent more than five years as Director Product at XING.com. There he developed and managed attractive product solutions and profitable new business areas in both the B2C and B2B sectors.
My passion, together with my team, is to make sure that we at Aroundhome put our customers at the center of our thoughts and actions every day. Our goal is to help homeowners make better decisions by providing good recommendations. A high degree of personal responsibility and a constructive culture of making mistakes are particularly important to me, so that we learn something new every day.
Tilman Rotberg has been with Aroundhome since 2020, most recently as Senior Vice President. Prior to that, he spent 16 years in various management roles at the market research company GfK in Nuremberg and San Francisco, USA. There, he worked on the development of groundbreaking digital products (gfknewron) and advised the world's largest technology and media companies on their marketing and product strategies, always with the aim of focusing on the wishes and needs of consumers.
Yvonne Rattay (CSO), Patrick Roelofs (CPO), Thomas Bruns (CFO) and Hélder Martins (CTO) round off the new management team at Aroundhome.
The company moves to Potsdamer Platz.
Mario Kohle joins the Advisory Board, Behlau remains as sole CEO.
